One of my first uses of the foldscope was to see what my skin looked like. I have had issues with my skin in the past including skin cancer. I thought it might be interesting to see if I could see a normal skin cell vs. a cancerous cell.

Then someone told me about face mites. Whoa. These are microscopic creatures that live in the pores of our face. Most everyone has them, I was told. So, I took a quick sample from my face to see if I could identify one.
