I am a Associate Professor in Zoology, S. V. Govt. P. G. College, Lohaghat, Champawat, Uttarakhand, India. This college is affiliate with Kumaun University, Nainital. Presently I am working on Toxicology. Four Research students presently doing Ph.D in my supervision.

A Foldscope workshop was organized in the Dept. of Zoology, Swami Vivekanand Government Post Graduate College, Lohaghat (Champawat), Uttarakhand with the collaboration of North East Partner Sibsagar College of Commerce, Sivsagar, Assam. This workshop was organized by Organizing Secretary Dr, Dharmendra Rathod. The Theme of this workshop was “Foldscope: A research and educational tool for sustainable development of science & Technology”. From North East partner Prof. S. J. Mahanta, Dr. P. J. Hazarika and their associates participated. In this workshop more than 200 students and college faculty also participated.
