We conducted a workshop on “A Brief introduction to Foldscopy” in the Government secondary school, Nehru nagar, Coimbatore. Essentially we planned how to assemble the Foldscope and understand the various applications, with a very creative introductory session. The students had to introduce themselves in a novel way. It created an intensive educational experience among the students from sixth, seventh and eighth standard. Sixty students along with three staffs were participated in the event. Students were encouraged to observe the prepared slides through Foldscope. That gave them a new perspective methods used in laboratory and inspired them to be innovative in their own ways
