Cytotoxic effect of Acrostichum aureum plant extract on DLA cells using Trypan blue dye exclusion method was perfomed and the cells were observed under foldscope.
Live cells or those cells which are in early phase of apoptosis are colourless and dead cells or those cells which are in late phase of apoptosis are blue in colour.
