We had a vendor booth at the ASCB, the American Society for Cell Biology, annual meeting in San Diego. We brough some samples from an aquarium of cells brewing in the lab, and some very special cultures of Lacrymaria . .
We also ran a poster session updating the ASCB community on how the foldscope user community has grown over the years. Our poster was dotted with countless stories from across the foldscope spectrum, trying to capture the diversity and breadth of our explorers.

It was a wonderful experience to connect with both familiar and new people and think about how individuals with a scientific background can become mentors to help shape and grow the global community in the coming years!
