The latex of Calotropis gigantia is a milky juice and is known to cause toxic karatoconjunctivitis and reversible vision loss.It is also a rich source of useful components that has medicinal properties. It controls bleeding.The surface of leaf is rough and has white powdery substance and consists of trickiness when observed through foldscope.
