When hot oil spills on the skin,it becomes black and dry after few days and the dry skin comes out as new skin develop after cell division. When the same happened on my hand, I thought why not explore the dry dead skin under the foldscope. The dead skin was stained with safranine and observed through the foldscope. Class 7 A were excited to observe the structure of skin under the foldscope. The cells were closely packed.
