Assembly and Applications of Foldscope workshop on “Assembly and Applications of Foldscope” was conducted in D.G. Ruparel College, Mumbai for the F.Y. B.Sc. Zoology students. A group of 26 participants attended this workshop. They assembled the Foldscopes in groups and prepared slides of pollen grain, scales of fish, onion peel, stomata of leaf and observed them. The participants were enthused to know about this microscopic tool and have come up with suggestions for its applications in the field study of flora and fauna in natural ecosystems.
