A sample from a rain-water filled coffee cup was collected with a pipette that was rinsed with tap water. One drop from the pipette was then placed into a square slide well formed by two layers of scotch tape placed in a square . Although mostly void of any life visible to the microscope, this organism was found though appeared to be static. It seemed to be elongate ovaloid in shape with some sort of whip like appendage at the larger end and with hook-like mouthparts at the other. In the future, I would like to try to find this organism in other samples and investigate its movement and behavior.
