  I was interested in what one of my hair follicles looked like so I took one of my eyelashes and placed it on a slide. It is lighter than originally expected, more brown than black, but that makes sense considering that it is being flooded with light. I am interested in what the smaller black markings inside are. There is also a lot of dust in this sample which can be seen in the back.
