This is a flower stamen that I plucked off of a small white flower. I placed it straight onto the microscope plate and put a few piece of tape in between the two sides of the slide to prevent it from being to squished. I think that these pictures are super interesting because not only can you see the main structures of the stamen, you can also see all the pollen on the stamen and the pollen that fell off. I noticed while preparing my plate that the pollen fell off the structure so easily.
