  My dorm community has founds numerous, small, brown ants in our lounge. I decided to look at one of them using my Foldscope. I examend the head, eyes, antenna, legs, thorax, and abdomen. I will attach a photo of the head and thorax of my ant specimen. I was especially fascinated at the joints of the legs of the ant. Moreover, I was surprised to observe patterns and scales in the exoskeleton of the ant. I took these photos using the camera on my cell phone and the light provided in the foldscope kit. Bio60_2019
