Today Commerce students of grade 12 (II PU) got an opportunity to explore nature under the foldscope. They were first introduced to foldscope and it’s uses, then they were encouraged to collect samples from their surroundings and explore them using foldscopes. Students were thrilled and fascinated as they collected samples of wildfly, took hair follicles and made powder from chalk as well as cashewnut and Walnut to observe under the foldscope. They were trained to make slides and observe them using foldscope. They were fascinated at the entire idea of using a portable microscope to explore nature and their surroundings as they came up with interesting conclusions.
