One day Workshop on “Exploring the microbial world through foldscope” At Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gangtok 13.02.19 Conducted by ICAR- National organic farming research institute Tadong, Gangtok In this workshop the total of 144 student had participated which are from class VI, VII, VIII & IX standard. The student learned various thing like assembling of foldscope, slide preparation, identification of different plant parts (pollen), diseased samples of plants and the application of foldscope in identifying the pathogens and other plant samples (pollen, onion tissue). student were very keen to learn more about the use of foldscope and many students were also interested in buying the foldscope.
