The spores of an epiphytic pteridophyte (P3) were observed.
This was collected from The Royal Botanical Garden, Kolkata. (Nothing was plucked or damaged, the dried frond was simply picked up from the ground.)
I am not aware what this epiphytic pteridophyte is called. Do let me know.
The slide was prepared by Rishika Pawar.
Shri Shivaji Science College, Amravati, Maharashtra.
Left – The dried frond of epiphytic pteridophyte
Right Top – Spores with sporangiophores
Right Bottom – Single, reddish, triangular spore.
