Dear Foldscope Community,

It is a pleasure to become part of the Foldscope Microcosmos community. This is an extremely exciting technology for education and health across the globe.

I am pleased to let the community know that we are bringing Foldscopes to Afghanistan. We will do a pilot with a small group of professors and students in the next couple of weeks. The immediate goal is to make Foldscopes part of the curriculum for the science departments in the Faculties of Education across the country. The National Association of Science and Mathematics Educators of Afghanistan (NASMEA) and Afghanistan Holding Group will work together to make this happen.

The pilot group will be signing in and posting on this community site within the next 2 weeks. We will need all of your support and guidance in making Foldscopes a true educational breakthrough in Afghanistan.
