 This is an image of pond water taken from the Caltech turtle pond at 7:30. The sample was taken using a falcon tube. The objects in the image are most likely multicellular organisms. A question I have about the image is whether or not the organisms in the image feed on other organisms, or produce their own energy. An approach to answering the question would be to observe them for a longer period of time to see if they are capable of moving and consuming other organisms.  #caltechbi1
