This is a photo of an organism found in a sample from the turtle pond. It was taken in Bio rec at 8:50 pm on 4/09/19. This photo was taken using an iPhone and a foldscope held up to the light.

One question I have about the image is the sparseness of the organisms seen, despite the clearly populated water source. I believe this could be due to an unclean slide or dirt on the lens itself, despite efforts to clean using the provided q-tip. These layers of would obscure smaller organisms, since the lens is not very strong. It is also possible that the method used to put the cover slide on pushed most organism out from underneath, resulting in a minimally populated sample.
