 This image shows small pieces of algae in the turtle pond water. The pieces are green and of different sizes and are scattered throughout the picture. This sample was obtained at 9 pm in Broad at Caltech on April 11, 2019. The sample was obtained from putting a drop of Caltech’s turtle pond water on a glass slide under a cover. A foldscope was then used to magnify and get the image.


 The domain of the organism is eukarya because pond algae are generally in eukarya. Also, the algae appear to be multicellular.
