 The image is a sample of water collected at approximately 7:30 p.m. from the turtle pond outside of Millikan Library at Caltech. It is difficult to identify the organisms in my image. The circular dark spots may be from air bubbles and this lack of clarity prevents me from making any statements about my sample. The foldscope has 140x magnification and 2 micron resolution. Because it’s difficult to identify any organisms in the image, I would prefer to take the same (or another) sample and use a better microscope with a higher resolution to fully identify if my sample has any organisms and to measure their sizes.  #caltechbi1
