Searching for organisms in sample of pond water with algae and other particulates. The sample was obtained at 4:00 pm on April 10th, 2019 at the Turtle Pond at the California Institute of Technology using a cup. The magnification of the foldscope is 140x. Although I did not find any organisms in my sample, a very common organism to have seen is an amoeba of size 500 microns. This would have been viewed as 70 mm through the foldscope.
