One day foldscope workshop was organized in Department of Botany, Surendranath College, Raiganj, WB on 11th March 2019. Students of UG courses participated the workshop. Demonstration of Foldscopewas done and video of assembly of Foldscope was shown to them. Hands on training was given for sample preparation, observation under foldscope and capturing picture with their smart phone. They prepared epidermal peel of onion and Chenopodium leaf.and enjoyed the whole day activities with foldscope.
