The image shows a pollen sample from a Port Saint John’s Creeper flower, also known as Pink Trumpet Vine. The sample was taken from a fallen flower, near the Millikan Library on Caltech’s campus, at 9:15 AM May 1st. The pollen grains are about 0.005 cm.

The vine grows best in full sun to partial shade, it needs moderate watering, and can grow to cover 20 ft.
