Dr. S. Sharmila, Principal Investigator, Assistant
Professor in Botany, Vellalar College for Women (Autonomous), Thindal,
Erode-12, Tamil Nadu have organized a collaborative foldscope workshop with The
“ Erode Diagnostic Laboratory ” on 2 nd May 2019 on the topic “Foldscope
– A new scientific research kit for simple indulgent of microbiological and
clinical Sciences”
The workshop has been conducted in the “ Erode Diagnostic Laboratory ”, which commenced its service from 6 th March 2012 at Erode. Dr. K. Rajaduraipandi , Ph.D (Microbiology) introduced the Diagnostic Laboratory for public. He also received DBT-Foldscope Project under the scheme NGO sector. His pragmatic experience is a direct reflection of his exposure and outstanding work services in reputed academic and research institutions as well as in tertiary care hospitals earlier. As a present day diagnostic laboratory, it has all routine and special investigations starting from every minimum essential requirement. The main concept of the workshop was to promote foldscope among the Lab technicians to understand Microbiological, Clinical and Diagnostic sectors.
