When you look at a leaf, you can feel the lines as you gently run your fingers across the rough dry sheet. Rarely, do you think about the perfections of a leaf. Under the Foldscope those lines become apparent and it’s easy to see how complex leaves truly are. Through, a series of organized events these leaves are responsible to help the process of photosynthesis. A system so beautifully organized to help create this self sustaining life, we know as plants. This was a great way for me to explain a short explanation about the light being absorbed and how this leaf played an important role to the tree it was on. This slide creates imagination, curiosity, and a love for Science. We love our Foldscopes!!!
