Pollen from Yellow Daylily

As seen in the first image, this is some pollen acquired from a yellow daylily. The dark greenish/yellowish particles are the pollen. The sample was obtained from a daylily near Caltech’s Turtle Pond (edit: Throop Memorial Garden) on 5/1/19 at 3:05pm, as shown in the second image. The sample was obtained by tapping the anther of the flower onto the slide. The species of the flower seems to be Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus, more commonly known as yellow daylily.
