Pollen of Red flower

This is a picture of pollen acquired from a red flower seen through a foldscope. The individual black specs in the circle are particles of pollen. The large L shaped part to the right is unbroken pollen sac from the flower.

This is a picture of the location of where the sample was collected. The location was a pot near the cube fountain in Linde-Robinson building. The time was 6:27 PM PST.

I got the sample by plucking a flower off of the branch. Then, in my room, I used my hand to cut the pollen sac from the flower and smash some of the pollen to put on the glass slide.

One question is what are the separate parts that create pollen? We can use a microscope and magnify more to see the intricate parts of the pollen. Another question is how does pollen vary between different plants? We can get the pollen of many plants and observe each of them.
