Pollen sample (found wet) from Aloe plant. Picture taken with iPhone 6s. The small circles are the pollen, since the pollen was extremely fine.
Aloe plant where pollen was taken from.
Location at which flower was found (see right of image). On Caltech campus on Holliston Avenue. Outside the Center for Student Services and Braun House. The sample was obtained at 1:40PM on May 8th on Caltech’s campus outside Braun House. The sample was obtained by rubbing the flower onto the slide. Water was already on the flower and came off with the pollen, so the sample was wet. After examining the plant and some online research, it became clear that the flower was an aloe vera flower.
