This is an image of the pollen magnified. In the image the individual pollen are small, yellow spheres that are slightly clear. The pollen was collected from a flower bed to the east of Lloyd house in the California Institute of Technology. There is an image of the orange flowers below. The pollen was collected on May 9, 2019 at 2:32 pm. The sample was obtained by rubbing the anthers of the flower on the slide.

Some questions I might ask about this flower are as follows:

Why is the pollen shaped like this? How do other flowers’ pollen compare?

I might be able to find the answer to these questions by looking at other flower samples and comparing their pollen. Some extra research could be done about pollen.
