The image taken with a smart phone though a foldscope with 140x magnification shows a clump of pollen from a California Poppy flower. The poppy flower was obtained at 6pm on Wednesday the 8th of May. To obtain the poppy pollen the flower was first picked from the plant, then dissected to obtain the fine pollen dust. The dust was then prepared on a foldscope slide. The flower was collected from a group of california poppies outside the door of Lloyd and Ruddock. The species of the poppy is Eschscholzia Californica.
The group of poppies from which the sampled poppy was taken.
