Imbalances in vaginal health can have serious consequences, including but not limited to infertility and viral infections. Common vaginal health problems include sexually transmitted diseases, bacterial infections, yeast infections, and more. Monitoring vaginal health through swab analysis is a common method for gynecologists to evaluate a patient’s vaginal health. Regular visits to the gynecologist can help prevent vaginal health problems.
