The pollen was taken from the Hibiscus flowers outside Page House at 5:18pm, 5/10/19. The sample was taken by gently scraping the inside of the flower.
The pollen is yellow, with an uneven almost spiky texture. The pollen is from a Hibiscus flower. Judging by the color, more specifically it is Hibiscus brackenridgei. Although the picture does not show the diameter of the lens, approximately 10 grains of pollen could fill the field of view of the 1mm diameter lens, so the pollen is about 0.1mm wide.
