Magnified pollen from plant in Bechtel courtyard at 6:40PM May 10th. The sample was obtained by shaking pollen from the plant onto the glass slide. As one can see, there are many individual pollen grains and one large clump in the top half of the lit area.
The plant from which the pollen was taken and the location in Bechtel courtyard where the sample was taken. The plant genus is Kniphofia and the species is Kniphofia uvaria.
