 This is an image of pollen from a flower. This sample was obtained at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 10th, 2019 right outside of the Bechtel Residence at Caltech. To obtain the sample, a white flower from the area pictured was rubbed against the glass slide, so that pollen would come off onto it. The magnification of the foldscope is 140x, and one of the pollen in the picture is about 0.2 cm in diameter, so in actuality the objects are about .014 mm in diameter. #caltechbi1
