The image shows a large black mass with some small black particulates surrounding it. The black mass as many sharp protrusions on it and is generally rectangular with a small notch absent from the top.
The sample was prepared by shaking pepper from a pepper shaker onto the slide. The pepper shaker was taken at 2:03 pm on 5/28/19 from the Page house dining hall at the California Institute of Technology.
