The image shows two strands from a white towel. One can see two dark spots where there are many smaller strands that are all weaved together. In between the main strands, one can see a bunch of smaller strands tangle together, as well as some small strands to the left of the left main strand.
The sample was taken from Page house room 143 in the California Institute of Technology from a white towel at 1:46 pm on 5/28/19. The strand was removed from the towel using scissors and then placed on a slide
