Leaf sample from a strawberry This is an image of a leaf from a strawberry. It’s fascinating to view the veins of the leaf, as leaves depend on the vascular system to move the water and nutrients up into the rest of the plant cells. Furthermore, you can see the plant cell walls clearly in the picture.
The leaf was taken from a strawberry. The strawberry was obtained from the North House’s Open Kitchen at Caltech on May 30, 2019 at 9:20 AM. After obtaining the strawberry, one of the leaves was plucked off and gently placed on a glass slide. Additional water was placed on the leaf before putting the slip over it.
