This is a picture of pomegranate flower from a tree behind Chandler Cafe at Caltech. I rubbed the central part of the flower onto the slide to collect the sample. The sample was taken around 5pm on May 30th.
Foldscope close up of the pomegranate pollen. It is quite distinct from other flower pollen, and is composed of many tiny circular grains. #caltechbi1
