This is bush of Pelargonium X Hortorum found on Caltech campus. The sample was obtained at 5:20pm on May30th. I rubbed the middle part of the plant onto the slide to collect the pollen.
Foldscope close up of the pollen. Since I rubbed on the sample in a few straight motions, the pollen traces straight lines. The pollen consists of small circular grains that are slightly elongated on one side. #caltechbi1
