Sample collected from bike rack next to Avery House’s west entrance inside of its gates on 5/31/2019 at ~5:00pm.

Cover slip sticker from foldscope kit was stuck to a spider web, its silk wrapping around the cover until the web detached from the bike rack. Then, cover slip was stuck onto slide and sample was observed through foldscope. Here, we can see the thin, stretched strands of spider silk.
