The eye shadow sample was obtained from a 4.5 g Pixi by Petra Beauty Blush Duo in Peach Honey at 9:50 p.m. on Friday, May 31 at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California. It was obtained by scraping the surface of the eye shadow over the slide.

Because the sample had some shimmer, many of the images turned out slightly blurry, but this was mainly due to the shiny powder reflecting the light reaching the sample. The images show inconsistently-shaped and sized blobs with some sharp edges and varying degrees of reflectivity. The images remind me of a kaleidoscope. #caltechbi1
