A workshop on Assembly and use of Foldscope was orgnaized at Bapuji High School, Lalabori of Goalpara disrict, Assam on 3rd June, 2019. More than 60 students were attended in that workshop. They learned how to assemble the Foldscope, how to prepare slide for observation under Foldscope, how to observe sample using camera phone etc. The teachers of the school were also learned about the various steps of Foldscope assembly. All the students and staff were very happy to see and learn about this new type of microscope (Foldscope). The headmaster of the school Mr. Mahammad Ali offered vote of thanks to the faculties Zoology department, Goalpara College and also to the DBT, Govt. of India for providing the opportunity to learn a new thing.
