Foldscope orientation workshop was conducted in Anjuman Khairul Islam Girls High school, Mumbai Central East, Mumbai on 20th July, 2019. 61 Students of 10th standard from Semi English and Urdu medium attended the workshop. In the workshop slide preparation, working and use of foldscope was demonstrated to the participants. Later participants prepared slides of onion peel and stomata and observed them using Foldscope. The pre-prepared slides of stomata, onion peel, Spirogyra, pollen and fungus were also observed through Foldscope. The use of mobile phone camera to capture and observe the specimen was explained to the participants
