 A teachers orientation programme on foldscope was conducted by CEE North East on 23rd March 2019 at Dadara H S School in Kamrup Rural district of Assam. Teachers from 11 schools participated in the programme. It was conducted by Dr. Simanta Kalita in which he taught the teachers to assemble a foldscope and how to use it. One foldscope has been handed over to each teacher for use in their school.

 Permanent slides were provided to the teachers so that they can learn how to observe microscopic things using foldscope. CEE NE team will then visit each school to conduct an orientation with the students of these 11 schools with the help of their trained teacher.


 Mr. Apurba Thakura, DEEO, Kamrup Rural was also present to oversee the training.
