Foldscope workshop was conducted by the Ruparel College team at Saraswati Mandir High School, Mahim, Mumbai -16 on 23 July 2019. 59 Students of 9th standard participated in the workshop. The workshop included lecture on introduction to foldscope and its applications, followed by demonstration of slide preparation. The participants prepared slide of stomata of priwinkle leaf. Later participants observed the slides of Sporangia, onion peel, garden lily pollen. The use of mobile phone to capture images through Foldscope was explained to the participants.
