Indo-US DBT Foldscope project was sanctioned to Barkatullah University, Bhopal where research work on Narmada River was carried out along with several workshops were conducted for school, college, university students of Madhya Pradesh and Northeast India. Also, various online sessions were conducted for Indian colleges and universities. The Principal Investigator of the project is Prof. Anil Prakash along with Co-Principal Investigator Prof. Vipin Vyas and Research Fellow Dr. Parul Gurjar

Students from different schools and classes attended nature study camp at Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal. These students were given the workshop on Foldscope (Collection, Identification and Demonstration) of Foldscope by Barkatullah University, Bhopal
On first day students got informed on field about the Collection of aquatic microorganisms from the lake and on the second day, the group of students visited the Barkatullah University for the demonstration and handling of Foldscope instrument.
