A workshop was organised at Daranggiri Higher Secondary School, Daranggiri of Goalpara district on 13th September, 2019. A total of 85 students along with the teachers of the school were attended in the workshop. They learned how to assemble the various parts of the foldscope along with its various applications. Students observed different specimens on slide using the foldscope. They were very much happy on the part where the foldscope was attached with the camera phone for taking photograph/video of the specimen. Some of the students were showing interested to use foldscope in the project preparation works. The Principal of the school Mrs. Pritilekha Rabha offered vote of thanks to the team from Department of Zoology, Goalpara College.
