Description : On our second visit to MNP, we observed the biodiversity in the Water Lily Pond. Water was collected from the surface and from a depth of 10 cm below the surface and analyzed using the Foldscope. No organisms were observed in the surface water. We concluded that this might be due to the heating by the sun rays. From a depth of 10 cm below the surface we observed certain algae and a large protist with a pulsating heart/ gut system.
