FESTUS MUTHUI IHSA PRESIDENT IHSA TEAM
Hi! everyone in this team. I am Festus from Kenya, the president of International Health care Students association.(IHSA) and a BSCN student from University of Nairobi, founder and CEO of SKY S-BTB and FZSSK. IHSA is under the umbrella of Project Harambee Africa by director Dr. Keen(Kathleen Harrison PhD). Dr. Keen is married to Prof. Emeritus,Stritch school of medicine , Loyola University Chicago . Every year they visit us in Africa and in their visit of 2015, Prof. John brought us some fold-scopes from Prof. Manu for demonstration. with the help of Prof. Jaoko the HOD of Medical Microbiology in the University of Nairobi, we want to start a project and study in the University for the fold scope. however, through demonstration we noticed the apparatus we have produce unclear image due they were for demonstrations. The power of our lenses is not enough as we see yours in you tube. I wrote to Prof. John who did the same to prof. Manu and they requested I share my problem here. I am requesting the team Christine and others to help us go on with this in Kenya and perhaps we are the first team in Africa.
