I live near Toronto, Canada. A friend gave me a few prepared slides (which are old, but still fairly decent). This one contains stained specimens of paramecium, which are single-celled organisms that live in water.
This next one is of the head of a mosquito larvae. Looking forward to using it in a whole variety of different ways.
This is a stained cross-section of a pine needle.
Fred, my cat, donated one of his very fine hairs to science. It’s interesting to discover that it is made up of extremely tiny segments.
